PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the deterioration of the lubrication performance of a vane and a vane groove in the case that a cast-release hole at a main bearing above the vane groove is eliminated for the purpose of restricting the emission of refrigerator oil splashed by the valve sliding in the vane groove of a cylinder out of a closed container with refrigerant gas when a hermetic rotary compressor is in operation. SOLUTION: In the compressor, the vane groove 13 of the cylinder 6 and the cast-release hole 12 above the groove are eliminated, and a gap is formed between the vane groove 13 and a flange of the main bearing 4 above the grove. In addition, an introducing hole 15 for introducing the refrigerator oil 11 is formed in such a way that the refrigerator oil 11 is easy to be fed to the vane groove 13, so that a quantity of the refrigerator oil 11 splashed by the vane 8 sliding in the vane groove 13 emitted out of the closed container 10 is reduced. The refrigerator oil 11 can also be fed from above to the vane groove as illustrated as a flow 14 of the refrigerator oil so as to secure lubrication performance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
