In a glass blowing machine having an intermittently rotating turret. Three neck rings are provided and these move successively to a blank (parison) station, blow station and take-out station arranged 120 degrees apart around the turret and means are provided for rotating each neck ring between the takeout station and the blank station to invert the neck ring, and between the blank station and the blow station to revert the neck ring, The rotation takes place about horizontal axes lying substantially midway between the top and bottom of the'parisons and is effected by the engagement of gears carried by the rings unit stationary gear sectors. |
