The present invention relates to automatic disinfection devices for disinfecting hands, having a plurality of arrangement possibilities according to a building block principle, providing a large number of use options with few additional parts. Starting from a basic module having supplementary housing modules, the invention provides the ability to use the devices in all areas in which disinfection is required or desired. Additional expansion modules are solar modules, which are attached with an indicator device behind a glass inset, and collecting containers.
