The invention relates to a sealing apparatus comprising a sealing unit (1) for weld sealing packages and an electronic control unit (2) for actuating the sealing unit (1). The control unit (2) has an electronic interface (3) for supplying sealing process log data such as the applied sealing pressure, duration of the applied sealing pressure, sealing temperature, and the like in a raw data format. According to the invention, an electronic evaluation unit (4) is assigned to the electronic control unit (2) in order to convert the sealing process log data into a processed data format, and a removable, portable storage medium (5) is allocated to the evaluation unit (4) in order to store the sealing process log data. |
