A method for the noodles containing a guava component, and the noodles containing a guava component prepared by the method are provided to improve the texture of noodles and to enhance the health improving effect of noodles by using guava. A method for the noodles containing a guava component comprises the steps of adding water to a mixture of guava and a wheat flour to make a paste and rolling the paste; drawing the rolled paste by using a noodle-making machine; and drying the drawn noodles. Preferably the ratio of guava and the wheat flour is 1-10 : 90-99 by weight; and the drying is carried out at a temperature of 50-70 deg.C for 1-2 days and at a temperature of 30 deg.C for 2 hours. |
