A device for conveying a glass ribbon on a plurality of rotating glass conveyance rolls comprises a rotary drive section, a plurality of rolls rotating by the rotary drive section, looped belts circulating while performing flexural traveling under a state where the rolls are inserted, and wheels for retaining the glass ribbon being conveyed on the belts. The glass ribbon is conveyed on the belt by driving the belt while holding the both ends of the glass ribbon in the width direction between the belt and the wheel.
