PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a superconductive joint while simultaneously applying voltage isolation to the superconductive joint. SOLUTION: A method for cooling and electrically isolating a superconductive joint includes (a) a step for preparing a container (10) to store the joint, (b) a step for attaching the container to a cooling surface (20) by interposing an electrically-isolating layer (30) therebetween, (c) and a step for embedding the superconductive joint into a jointing material (70) in the container (10).
