<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device and an electricity storage device control system that uses the system which has a simple and low-cost configuration and ensures a long service life battery, even when a high-voltage battery pack of multiple series-connected batteries is used. <P>SOLUTION: The system has a packed battery, wherein a plurality of partial battery packs consisting of a plurality of batteries are connected in series, a plurality of monitors, and a controller for controlling the charging and discharging of the packed battery. Each of the plural monitors has a plurality of processing means for generating charging and discharging control information, on the basis of the states of plural partial battery packs; a power source means for receiving the electrical energy from a monitoring partial battery pack; a first communication means for communicating with a lower monitoring device or a controller; a second communication means for communicating with an upper monitoring device; and an insulating means which is arranged between the processing means and the first communication means, or the second communication means and insulating by a withstand voltage which is equal to or higher than the voltage of the partial battery pack. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
