PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital control power supply device that controls an output ripple current to be constant in the entire load region in a power supply device in which PWM control is performed. SOLUTION: In the digital control power supply device, a digital controller is provided which generates a PWM signal, and a switching element is turned on/off by the PWM signal to obtain an output voltage for a load from an input voltage. This digital controller has: an AD converter by which an analog output current of the power supply device is taken and converted to a digital value, and the resulting a digital output current value is output; a calculation means by which a pulse width is calculated for every cycle of a carrier frequency serving as a reference to obtain a sampling frequency of the AD converter or the PWM signal; and frequency control means by which the carrier frequency and the sampling frequency are variably controlled, respectively, according to the digital output current value outputted from the AD converter.
