摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current interrupting device quickly and surely extinguishing arc discharge generated at blow-out of a low-melting-point conductor. SOLUTION: The device is structured of a first electrode 1, a second electrode 2 as well as a third electrode 3 arranged almost linearly, a low-melting-point conductor 4 set between the second and the third electrodes enabled to connect the second and the third electrodes and be separated at softening or melting to shut off electric conduction between the second and the third electrodes, a flexible conductor 5 fitted astride the first and the second electrodes, and a biasing means 6 bridged between a fixing part 7 in the vicinity of the first electrode and the second electrode 2, and deforming the flexible conductor 5 at separation of the low-melting-point conductor to deviate a side-end part of the low-melting-point conductor of the second electrode 2 toward a first electrode 1 side.
