PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can raise the superiority of a game state itself entitled to actuate a time shortening function. SOLUTION: When prescribed requirements are met, a pair of mobile pieces 606 is allowed to be opened and closed after the passage of a prescribed period of time. When game balls enter a second starter slot 604 opened with the opening and closing of the pair of mobile pieces 606, a lottery processing is conducted responding to the entry of the game balls into the second starter slot 604 regardless of the order of the entry of the game balls into a first starter slot 602. In a game state with the frequency of opening and closing the pair of mobile pieces 606 set higher, when a special lottery is conducted responding to the entry of the game balls into the first starter slot 604, the variation of symbols corresponding to the special lottery is made for a time long than the prescribed time.
