PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel opening or closing mechanism having a simple structure and mechanism that enables a panel opening or closing operation to be carried out more easily. SOLUTION: There is provided a panel opening or closing mechanism arranged at an opening part of a box body having an opened front surface in which each of both sides of its lower end is rotatably connected to both front end sides of the lower frame extended out of or withdrawn into the lower side of the box body opening part from the rear side of the box body to its front side, a panel guided along guides in which each of both upper end sides is formed in both sides of the opening part of the box body is opened or closed by extending or withdrawing the lower frame from the rear side to the front side of the box body. The lower frame is constituted by a first frame and a second frame and each of both lower side ends of the panel is rotatably connected to both front end sides of the second frame. The second frame can be displaced in respect to the first frame. A biasing means for always applying a biasing force against the second frame is arranged between the first frame and the second frame in such a manner that the second frame may be positioned at a location before displacement.
