PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-disc brake device capable of maintaining stable braking performance by suppressing decrease of a frictional area between a lining face and a disc rotor face even if the disc rotor is thermally deformed during braking. SOLUTION: In the multi-disc brake device 100, lining assemblies 15, 17 arranged between facing disc rotors 7, 9 are swingably held in mounting holes 33, 34 of a case 31 supported movably in the axial direction of these disc rotors 7, 9 between the facing disc rotors 7, 9, so that during thermal deformation of the disc rotors 7, 9, the lining face follows undulation of the disc rotor face, and decrease of the frictional area between the lining face and the disc rotor face can be suppressed.
