摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial vertebral body having a microstructure (a nano-composite structure), a composition and a solid structure, equivalent to those of an autogenetic bone, and having excellent characteristics such as penetration of new blood vessels, and osteogenetic cells. SOLUTION: The artificial vertebral body is configured to have a structure having Haversian canal-like and Volkman's canal-like perforations in a block made of a HAp/Col composite. Because of the characteristics of HAp/Col composite and the structure, blood vessels and osteogenetic cells can easily penetrate into the artificial vertebral body after the implantation, and the structure equivalent to the original bone having the trabecular bone (mallow) at the center and the sideways periphery surrounded by the cortical bone (HAp/Col) can be formed.
