PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable and cushiony wheelchair heater and a wheelchair equipped with it, so that the aged or physically handicapped with disability in the lower half of their bodies can be ready to enjoy going out of their homes even during a cold season. SOLUTION: The heater is provided with a soft PTC sheet heater 2, a low-resilience pedestal, a flexible storing cover 1 for storing the heater 2 and the pedestal, and a portable power source 16 to supply power to the heater 2. A waterproof layer is formed on the surface of the heater 2. The heater 2 is detachably installed above the low-resilience pedestal.
