PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly move a care-receiver between a wheelchair and a toilet bowl by allowing a caregiver to take the care-receiver seated on a wheelchair into a toilet room with his/her front facing a toilet bowl, allowing a turning mechanism to turn the care-receiver into the backward-looking posture relative to the toilet bowl in the toilet room, and allowing the care-receiver to be seated on the toilet bowl with his/her back facing to the toilet bowl; to reduce the burden of the caregiver by reducing the lifting height compared with a case of moving the care-receiver seated in the wheelchair in a backward-looking posture, in a device having the turning mechanism capable of horizontally turning a body-worn member. SOLUTION: This toileting care assist apparatus is provided with a guide mechanism 1 provided at the upper part of the toilet room T, a traveling member 2 provided to freely travel by the guide mechanism, a hoist mechanism 3 provided at the traveling member, the body-worn member 4 vertically adjustably suspended and supported by the hoist mechanism and being worn on the care-receiver W, and the turning mechanism 5 capable of horizontally turning the body-worn member.
