<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently illuminate an illumination region extending with a prescribed width with sufficient luminance and good luminance uniformity using a light source composed of an LED element. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting optical system is provided with a sub-lens 2 which emits condensed flux of light of fan-shape expanding in a longitudinal direction X of an illumination region by condensing the diffused flux of light from a light source unit 1 in an angle region corresponding to the width of the illumination region regarding the width direction Y of the illumination region and a main lens 3 which emits the condensed flux of light condensed by the sub-lens 2 generally toward the illumination region and refracts a part of light along the longitudinal direction and emits to the far-end region direction in the illumination region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
