<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) which efficiently inhibits the proliferation of feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), and a composition for inhibiting the replication of FIV by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a dsRNA molecule and a composition for inhibiting the replication of FIV using the dsRNA molecule, wherein the dsRNA molecule targets the open reading frame A (ORFA) mRNA of FIV, and wherein the one strand of the dsRNA molecule is a sense strand having a same base sequence as the sequence of ORFA gene of FIV or a part thereof and the other strand is an antisense strand having a base sequence complementary to the sense strand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
