PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which an image generating device and a light-transmitting member can be laminated with a joining material layer having a sufficient thickness and intrusion of air bubbles can be prevented, and to provide a method for manufacturing the display device, and electronic equipment equipped with the display device. SOLUTION: In the display device 10, an exit face 53 of a liquid crystal device 5 and an entrance face 13 of a light-transmitting member 10 are laminated with a light-transmitting pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 21 formed on the exit face 53 and a light-transmitting adhesive layer 22 adhering the entrance face 13 with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 21. The adhesive 22a has an advantage of preventing intrusion of air bubbles, while the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 21 has an advantage that it can be formed thick. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
