PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lengthening of the time of pulsatile charging for automobiles which is caused by not being in synchronization with charging/discharging profiles which are generated, when restarting of pulse charging is to be restarted, after the interrupt of a driver request. SOLUTION: The pulsatile charging profile for automobile batteries is synchronized with the current variation by a driver or automobile request through phase tracking of the fundamental frequency of a desired pulse charging profile, with respect to current variations due to the driver or automobile request.
