PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a purified fluorocarbon resin which can be suitably used for reducing the content of volatile components. SOLUTION: The method for producing a purified fluorocarbon resin comprises a process in which the melt-processable fluorocarbon resin is made to contact with a deaeration auxiliary agent while being heated and melted, and is characterized in that the deaeration auxiliary agent is dispersed in the heated and molten fluorocarbon resin.
