PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the pressure holding and rotary driving of a fixing sleeve and to prevent vibration and noise during driving, especially in a system for performing heating by an exciting coil provided outside a cylindrical fixing heating sleeve, in an induction heating fixing device. SOLUTION: The induction heating fixing device comprises: an induction heating inverter device; the fixing heating sleeve 101 having an induction-heating heating element; a pressure mechanism pressure-holding the fixing heating sleeve 101 by a fixing pressure roller 108; the fixing pressure roller 108; a temperature detecting element represented by a thermistor; and a safety element such as a thermoswitch 106.
