PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a wireless authentication system that the function is restricted during use of a personal computer despite the change in the status of use. SOLUTION: When a safety switch 103 is canceled, a wireless device operates with a wider authentication range configured by including, in the operation information 63 in a response signal 22, the information indicating that the safety switch 103 is canceled and by including the information to widen the authentication range in an option 64.
