PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a pillar head, which brings about downsizing of a bracket or a form device in construction of a pillar head, and is efficient and economical. SOLUTION: According to the method of constructing the pillar head of a prestressed concrete bridge, in an overhanging erection method, brackets 2 supported by a pier 1 constitute a lower portion of the pillar head 6, and one end of each diagonal 7 is supported by the lower portion of the pillar head 6 while the other end of the diagonal 7 supports an overhanging-side intermediate portion or an overhanging-side distal end of a working floor 2A. Further, the overhanging-side intermediate portion or the overhanging-side distal end of the working floor 2A supported by the diagonal 7 supports a form 4 for forming part of a first block 8 connected to the pillar head 6.
