PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning member with improved cushioning properties against impact without using a cushioning member of a separated member. SOLUTION: The cushioning member 6 holds both end parts in the lengthwise direction of a packing member 5 for packing a commodity. A pair of rising parts 6a and 6b in the lengthwise direction and the bottom part 6c connecting their lower ends form an approximate U-shape. On the bottom part 6c of the cushioning member 6, bending parts 6h rising so that the upper ends approach the bottom face 5a of the packing member 5 from both ends in the widthwise direction, are formed. The respective bending parts 6h are respectively connected with the respective rising parts 6a and 6b at a folded part 6i with a triangle shape. On respective bending parts 6h, lateral stripes of the corrugated fiberboard are positioned in the direction orthogonal to the rising direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
