PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front part structure having sufficient sound-absorption performance. SOLUTION: The vehicle body front part structure 10 is provided with a dash panel 12 for dividing an engine room 14 and a cabin 21 where an occupant gets on; left and right side members 17L, 17R provided on left and right sides of the dash panel 12 and extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body; and a cross member 19 for connecting the left and right side members 17L, 17R, forming a U shape and forming a closed cross section by mounting it to a front surface 12a of the dash panel 12. A sound-absorption material 23 is arranged on the front surface 12a of the dash panel 12, the sound-absorption material 23 is also arranged between the front surface 12a of the dash panel and the cross member 18, a large number of small holes 25 are bored on the front surface 18a of the cross member 18.
