[PROBLEMS] A medicine packaging device in which a free end of a bottom plate of a tablet dispensing box does not sag by its own weight. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A bottom plate (43) is provided at an opening in the lower end of a tablet dispensing box (42). The bottom plate (43) has a base end provided with a pin (44) and also has a front end which is a free end. When a tablet dispensing member (36) moves to cause the tablet dispensing box (42) to reach a corresponding step (37a-37d), an opening protrusion (144b) of a fixed plate (37) fits into an opening recess (43c) in the bottom plate (43). This makes the bottom plate (43) pivot about the pin from a closed position to an open position. When the bottom plate (43) reaches the open position, tablets in the tablet dispensing box (42) drop.
