<p>A system and method for detecting and processing electromagnetic signals from seismic activity, wherein the system and method includes an antenna configured to receive electromagnetic signals. The antenna includes a coiled electrical conduit having a length equal to about the diameter of the Earth. The antenna also includes a plurality of center taps disposed about critical resonant frequencies of a compound or element. The system and method also includes a signal processing module in communication with the antenna and configured to receive and process electromagnetic signals. The system and method further includes a impulse generation device configured to generate seismic activity.
