PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing career liquid for preventing turbulence of an image and preventing turbulence of toner particles of an image section by squeeze, and to provide an image forming apparatus using it. SOLUTION: This device for removing career liquid includes a first career liquid removing means 13aY for removing the career liquid on an image carrier for carrying the image by a liquid developer produced by distributing toner particles consisting of a coloring agent and a resin in the career liquid, and a second career liquid removing means 13bY for removing the career liquid on the image carrier after the removal by the first career liquid removing means 13aY.
