PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner advantageous in cost, and facilitating work in a state of opening a front panel 2 when a general user carries out work such as cleaning or inspection of an indoor unit interior. SOLUTION: A front panel holding arm 1 is provided for supporting the front panel 2 in an indoor unit side, and by pivoting the front panel holding arm 1 by a shaft part 1a and composing it so as to freely rotate, it can be used to maintain an opened state of the front panel 2 such that the common user can work easily even in work such as cleaning or inspection of the indoor unit interior.
