<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass cutting apparatus enabling to remove a thin film formed on the surface of plate glass while suppressing the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A working table 2 on which the plate glass is placed is provided and a cutter supporting moving stage 3 is provided on the working table 2 to be movable in one direction. A cutter unit 6 for cutting the plate glass is provided on the cutter supporting moving stage 3 to be movable in another direction orthogonal to the one direction in which the cutter supporting moving stage 3 is moved. A trimming unit 8 is provided on the cutter supporting moving stage 3 to be movable in another direction orthogonal to the one direction in which the cutter supporting moving stage 3 is moved. The trimming unit 8 has a thin film removing member for removing the thin film formed on the surface of the plate glass. The thin film removing member of the trimming unit 8 is movable in the vertical direction to the trimming unit 8 and is rotatable around an axis of the horizontal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
