<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing method and apparatus, which easily photographs an image intended by a photographer in the case of slow synchronizing photography. <P>SOLUTION: A focus lens is placed in an arbitrary position, to start exposure. The focus lens is moved to a focal position just before strobe light is emitted, to conduct the slow synchronizing photography.
