PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry out the recovering action of removing a foreign substance and bubbles adhered to nozzles which eject liquid droplets. SOLUTION: A pressure detecting means 11 which detects a liquid feed pressure to a pressure chamber of a head 1 is connected to a liquid press-feeding line 6 equipped with a transforming means 5 for carrying out the recovering action of the head 1. The detection result of the pressure detecting means 11 is introduced to a waveform generating means 21. Simultaneously when pulsation for recovery of the ejection performance is given to the pressure chamber by the transforming means 5, a driving electric waveform based on a resonance frequency according to the liquid feed pressure detected in real time by the pressure detecting means 11 is generated, thereby driving the head 1.
