PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily lay out the cable of a motor how the motor and a speed reducer are disposed on the fixed frame of an automatic tool changer. SOLUTION: This drive 48 of the automatic tool changer 46 comprises the speed reducer 56 for taking out an output generated through speed reduction by the relative rotation of an external gear 50 and an internal gear 52. First and second carriers 60, 62 are installed on both sides of the external gear 50. The motor 54 are installed in the state of being offset from the axes of the first and second carriers 60, 62. A hollow part 65 is formed through the radial center of the speed reducer 56. The cable 66 for the motor 54 is inserted through the hollow part 65. A drive sprocket 72 for driving the endless chain 70 of the automatic tool changer 46 is secured to a casing 68 formed integrally with the internal gear 52. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
