PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum dryer and a feed box capable of uniformly applying a liquid to be treated onto the surface of a drum even if undulated and wavy deformations are present in a feed section of the feed box that feeds the liquid to be treated onto the drum surface of the drum dryer, and a method for manufacturing a drum dryer. SOLUTION: The drum dryer 10 has the drum 12, the feed box 30 that is extended in the axis O direction of the drum 12 and feeds the liquid to be treated onto the surface of the drum 12, and a support member 40 that supports the box 30 on both end sides thereof. On the surface of the drum 12, the drum dryer 10 evaporates liquid components contained in the liquid M to be treated fed onto the surface of the drum 12 by rotating the drum 12.
