PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device having a lower profile and higher impact resistance. SOLUTION: The portable terminal device comprises a case as part of a casing, a cover as part of the casing, having a recessed portion inside, a metal plate stored in the cover and having a cutout formed in the peripheral edge and a rising portion, and a circuit board having a protrusion on the opposite side corresponding to the cutout and another protrusion on the opposite side corresponding to the recessed portion. The circuit board is fixed to the metal plate with the protrusion locked to the cutout, and fixed to the cover with another protrusion locked to the recessed portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
