PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier apparatus for vehicular antenna that ensures a stable receiving state based on the shielding state of shielding material of a vehicle window. SOLUTION: The amplifier apparatus for vehicular antenna includes a glass antenna 20 provided in the window of a vehicle, an amplifier 11 for amplifying the received signal of the glass antenna 20, a sunshade 30 provided in the vicinity of the glass antenna 20, a sunshade ECU31 for detecting the open or closed state of the sunshade 30, and a controller 12 for controlling the gain of the amplifier 11 based on the open or closed state detected by the sunshade ECU31.
