PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device enhancing convenience by providing various recording/reproducing modes for playback during recording, simultaneous playback and simultaneous recording. SOLUTION: The disk device is provided with: a pair of optical heads 10A and 10B for recording/reproducing video/audio information in the predetermined recording area of a disk information recording medium 1; a pair of guides 8A and 8B extending radially outward from the center side of the disk information recording medium 1 to face each other on a straight line passing through the center; a pair of moving means 9A and 9B respectively mounted on the optical heads 10A and 10B to move back and forth between the recording start position of the center side and the recording end position of the outer peripheral side of the disk information recording medium 1 along the guides 8A and 8B; and a control means for controlling to record/reproduce the information in the recording area by operating either or both of the pair of moving means 8A and 8B and the optical heads 10A and 10B according to contents of a recording command and/or reproducing command.
