PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce working man-hours and labor required for repairing a deteriorated roof. SOLUTION: A new purlin 10 is placed on the upper side of the existing roof of a building 1 which comprises roof decks 4, and secured to a bolt 11 which extends from a girder 2 at the upper end of the building 1 through the existing roof. A tight frame 12 is installed on the upper side of the new purlin 10 along the longitudinal direction, and the single plates of a roof deck 13 are laterally arranged on the tight frame.
