The present invention relates to a linking support 130 of a flat windscreen-wiper blade, designed to be solidly attached to a wiping strip in order to couple it with a drive arm, in particular of a windscreen-wiper device of a motor vehicle. The invention is characterised in that the linking support 130 comprises two sheet-metal sides 131a, 131b which are connected at the top by at least one sheet-metal portion 132, 133 shared between said sheet-metal sides 131a, 131b, forming a top cross-piece 134, 135, and which are connected at the bottom by at least one pair of sheet-metal portions 136a, 136b, 137a, 137b solidly attached to one another, forming a bottom cross-piece 138, 139, the two sheet-metal portions 136a, 136b, 137a, 137b of the same bottom cross-piece 138, 139 respectively being formed integral with each sheet-metal side 131a, 131b.
