<p>A settop box (STB) and an advertising method using the STB are provided. In the advertising method, the STB receives a requested information requesting signal from a user. Then, in response to the requested information requesting signal, while the interface area is being activated, advertisement/image information is displayed so that an area where requested information is displayed and an area where the at least one piece of advertisement information is displayed overlap with each other on the interface area.</p> |
