<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of shortening time required from the depression of a release button up to the execution of exposure in an imaging element. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with: a movable mirror composed of a main mirror 121a and a sub-mirror 121b; the imaging element 130; and a body microcomputer 110 for controlling the operation of the movable mirror and the imaging element 130 and for acquiring a correction signal from the imaging element 130. The body microcomputer 110 acquires (period d22) the correction signal from the imaging element 130 during a period (period c21) for which the movable mirror is driven so as to guide an optical image converged by an imaging optical system to the imaging element 130, and then corrects (period d25) an image signal acquired from an effective pixel area of the imaging element 130 based on the correction signal acquired from the imaging element 130. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
