PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the thin front cover of a lighting fixture for a vehicle, in which a dent becomes apparent. SOLUTION: A runner 95 is arranged along the side edge part in the longitudinal direction of a cavity C for front cover molding made of a resin laterally long in a front view as a lighting fixture composing member provided to dies 100, 200, and a molten resin is injected from a gate 96 provided between the runner 95 and the side edge part of the cavity into the cavity C, so as to mold a front cover 12. The gate 96 is widely formed in such a manner that its width is expanded from almost the central part in the longitudinal direction of the cavity C to both the sides thereof along the arranging direction of the runner. The gate thickness T is 1 to 2.5 mm, the front/back length L thereof is 1.5 to 3 mm, the flow of the injected resin is made into a parallel flow and it is packed into the cavity C, thus, from the reduction of the maximum flow length L1 and the expansion of the length L2 at which the resin can flow per unit thickness, the lightening of a lighting fixture by thinning of the front cover is made possible.
