PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing/drying machine capable of economically and efficiently shortening a drying time in drying a wash through a heat pump. SOLUTION: Before spin-drying a wash, heating the wash by circulating a thermal storage material heated by an electric heater 31 (a heating means) through a thermal storage material circulating device 38 is able to rise a temperature of the wash before drying and to shorten the drying time. A required quantity of the material is, because of its circulation, managed less, economically shortening the drying time. In addition, heating the wash by the heated material provides an excellent heating efficiency, enabling the drying time to be efficiently shortened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
