PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type drying machine which can make the drying time of laundry shorter than previously. SOLUTION: Since the drum-type drying machine can form an air duct in the vicinity of an air supply hole 18 by making the laundry 5 to be pushed to the inside periphery of the drum 4 by an appropriate centrifugal force by rotating the drum 4 at a revolutionω<SB>1</SB>during a drying process, and can vary a drying air channel by appropriately varying the low density positions of the laundry 5 by keeping the time when the drum 4 is driven to rotation at the revolutionω<SB>1</SB>within the range of 15 to 32% of the whole drying process and realize the efficient drying process, the drying machine can shorten the time required for the whole drying process.
