<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast signal receiving device, capable of acquiring desired section data with low power consumption, when the power source of the digital broadcast signal receiver is in off-state. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast signal receiver includes an application layer processing part 14, which realizes a digital broadcast signal reception function through software processing; a firmware/hardware layer processing part 12 which implements it through hardware processing; a demultiplexing processing part 23, which separates each packet of a digital broadcast signal through hardware processings; a demultiplexing processing part 31 which separates it through software processing; a control part 30 which generates a switching control signal according with an on/off signal; and a switch 22 which selectively switches, on the basis of the switching control signal so as to output the digital broadcast signal to the demultiplexing processing part 23, or to the demultiplexing processing part 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
