PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a multicolor molded article in which even if a pattern is so fine that color break by a spray and color break by masking are difficult, a recess (bottom) and projection (crowning) of this fine pattern (irregularity) are separated by color, thereby the fine pattern is made to have multicolor, and to provide a multicolor molded article manufactured by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the multicolor molded article comprises: using an FRP mold having a mold pattern by irregularity, wherein the mold pattern has a first pattern formed by a bottom (A) of the irregularity, a second pattern formed by a crowning (B) of the irregularity, and a third pattern formed by a crowning (C) higher than the crowning B; applying gel coat resins of different colors to respective patterns; and thereafter squeezing, to form a fine multicolor pattern.
