PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated guided vehicle of a newsprint capable of dealing with various types of newsprints including an A-roll, a C-roll and a D-roll regardless of their length wherein a floor is lowered, its weight is reduced and energy saving property and maintenance property are enhanced. SOLUTION: The above problem is solved as the automated guided vehicle of the newsprint includes a travelling mechanism 120 for conducting automated guided conveyance of the newsprint between a storage place and an installation place of a rotary press and a lifting unit 140, attached to the travelling mechanism 120, for vertically lifting the newsprint and attaching/recovering it to the rotary press. The lifting unit 140 includes a lifting means 143 for lifting and driving two lifting frames 141 juxtaposed in parallel to a travelling road surface, a circular connection member 142 for keeping a space of the two lifting frames 141 as a predetermined space, linear guides 144 respectively formed on upper surfaces of the two lifting frames 141 and a moving table 145 for sliding and moving over the linear guides 144.
