PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of preventing intrusion of water droplets to a power source portion and suppressing a temperature rise of a power source board without impairing radiating performance of a cooling wheel. SOLUTION: This outdoor unit of the air conditioner includes the power source board 17 partitioning a wind circuit chamber 8 and the power source portion 18, and partially having an opening portion 17a communicating the wind circuit chamber 8 and the power source portion 18, a power source BOX 20 disposed on the power source board 17 and incorporating a control circuit 19, and a duct 20a disposed on the power source BOX 20 and communicating the power source portion 18 and the opening portion 17a. As the duct 20a can be formed in the power source BOX 20 inside of the power source board 17, the intrusion of water droplets by rainwater and the like can be prevented, and heat inside of the power source board 17 can be efficiently discharged without disturbing the passing of cooling air of a radiating portion 13a of a heat generating component 14 disposed on the control circuit 19, thus the temperature rise can be suppressed.
