A damper abnormality detector comprises a heater (13) disposed in an air passage, a damper (15) disposed in the air passage, a temperature sensor (16) disposed on the downstream side of the heater (13) in the air passage (P), and an abnormality determination part (30a) for determining whether or not the damper (15) is abnormally brought into a closed state when it must be brought into an open state according to the temperature detected by the temperature sensor (16) in such a state that the heater (13) is turned on.
